The Ferromex railway (FXE) is a current operating railway company in Mexico. The company runs the largest rail route in the whole country. Currently, Grupo Mexico owns 74% and Union Pacific owns 26%. Because of this, you may occasionally see Ferromex locomotives leading UP train, or a BNSF train. Ferromex's competitor is KCSM (Kansas City Southern de Mexico) or KCS.
