BNSF

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe railway is a current operating company, using all lines west of the Mississippi River. The Union Pacific railway covers most of the same territory. The BNSF railway is comprised of the Santa Fe and Burlington Northern railways. BNSF operates much of the Powder Creek Basin coal traffic. They also operate all other freight options. One of BNSF's main lines runs from Casper through Denver to the Oklahoma pan handle area. These rails carry freight, at most, every 20 minutes.
